Technology is part of our daily life. We use it at work, at school, and at home. If you play video games, you use technology. One of the most advanced forms of technology today is called Artificial Intelligence, or AI. Artificial Intelligence is the ability for computers to learn and think. Intelligent machines can process information, make decisions, and adapt to new situations. AI performs tasks that typically require human thinking. Instead, they can be done by an intelligent machine. Think about how a smartphone gives you directions.
Artificial Intelligence is already being used in many professions. Doctors use AI to diagnose patients through X-rays. Astronauts use AI to find planets outside of our solar system. Machines with AI can recognize speech, images, play games, or drive a car. Voice assistance uses AI to understand and respond to human voice commands. Search engines in web browsers use AI to help find things online. Scientists believe AI will have an even bigger presence in the future. No matter what you want to be when you grow up, AI could be a part of your job.
