In Kentucky, you can visit Mammoth Cave. This is the longest cave system in the world. A cave system is a series of connected caves. Mammoth Cave is over 350 miles long! Parts of Mammoth Cave are deep underground. Some animals that live there have adapted to the darkness. This means they have developed ways to better live in their environment. Eyeless fish, blind beetles, and eyeless crayfish live in Mammoth Cave.
