Portugal is a country in Europe. It is located on the Iberian Peninsula (land surrounded by water on three sides). The country shares a border with Spain. Portugal’s capital and largest city is Lisbon. There are many things to see and do there. Rossio Square is a beautiful plaza in the city center. It has stores, restaurants, and cafés. Many places in Lisbon will serve a famous Portuguese dessert called pastel de nata. It’s a pastry tart made from eggs, sugar, flour, and lemon.
