In 1986, she opened a theme park called Dollywood in the Smoky Mountains. Dollywood brings many visitors to the Smoky Mountains. This creates thousands of jobs in the area.
Dolly Parton died on August 25, 2026. She was 80 years old. She was surrounded by her family. She will be remembered for her music, her kindness, and her charities.
