This coin shows a mobile refrigerator invented in Minnesota. You can thank the mobile refrigerator the next time you see an ice cream truck. The coin design is part of a series of $1 coins. They feature inventions and inventors from different states.
Other coins will feature American subjects including the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. Some of the most famous coin designs in American history will be brought back this year too. These include the 1804 silver dollar and the 1916 half dollar. Each coin will have two dates on it: 1776 and 2026.
