Every year, people all over the world take part in World Cleanup Day. This is a day when people work together. They clean up trash and encourage others to take care of the Earth, too.
On World Cleanup Day, volunteers work together to pick up trash. They clean up cities, parks, forests, rivers, and beaches. Some people focus on recycling. Some people plant trees. Some people teach others in their community about different ways to make less trash. Everybody has the same goal. They want to take better care of the Earth.
