Sports organizations and athletes continue to honor Dr. King today. Major League Baseball is not in season in January. However, the National Basketball Association is in season. It will televise games in celebration of King. It will have a game in Atlanta, King’s hometown. Other sports will also honor Dr. King. They include college basketball, the National Football League, and the National Hockey League.
