In many parts of the world, winter often means there will be snow. In Sapporo, Japan, there is a festival of snow!
The festival has hundreds of statues or other objects made from snow and ice. Some of them are lit up at nighttime. Some of them are as tall as a house. There are lots of other activities, too. The festival can have over two million visitors!
